10 STAR AGENCY is seeking an experienced **Warehouse Manager** based in Etobicoke. This position is responsible for the direct management and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions at the organization’s warehouse facilities.

Founded in 2010, we are an entertainment-focused agency offering our clients strategy, development, production, and field execution of festivals, events, on-premises, and street-level activations. Our network of associates are steeped in the local culture, at the forefront of technology and emerging trends which enable us to deliver beyond ordinary experiences for our clients.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a fulfillment and inventory warehouse operation. The incumbent will be responsible for the planning, fulfillment, inventory, shipping and receiving of materials and fixtures for clients. This position will also evaluate and initiate process improvements in support of our Kaizen (continuous improvement) strategies through focusing on increasing production output while managing costs. Additionally, this position is responsible for scheduling, payroll, training and developing of fulfilment, customer service, administration, and shipping/receiving employees. At times, you will be the only individual in the warehouse and the work can be physically demanding. As we are a small business, a bonus would be to have the Warehouse Manager be prepared to help our activations team in the field in times of need. This would be rare, but occasionally we have “all hands-on deck” type of events.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, establishing and monitoring operation goals, and controlling inventory and logistics.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Supervise a small team of warehouse employees, including hiring, onboarding, delegation, training, performance evaluation, coaching, disciplinary actions, and termination.
- Manage communication process with clients and/or internal stakeholders to develop and execute planned client deployments as per schedule/requirements.
- Organize, control, and manage department to effectively deliver the required product to the required locations within pre-defined timeline and cost expectations.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics for shipping and receiving.
- Responsible for the accuracy, security and control of inventory and secured areas.
- Responsible for reducing operating costs while improving service, accuracy, and quality.
- Coordinate the team schedule which includes the administration of employee payroll/timesheets, vacation time and attendance management.
- Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, Security and Company policies and procedures.
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by understanding and adhering to all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
- Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education related to fulfilment or warehouse management and/or equivalent work experience.
- Operational experience with all functional areas of shipping, receiving, fulfillment and inventory management.
- Successful quality management and process improvement experience would be an asset.
- Familiarity with material handling and material management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Basic knowledge in current RMS and/or other Warehouse Inventory Management System.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (internally and externally).
- Strong initiative and work ethic, ability to work independently and manage multi-task operations.
- A proactive thinker with strong solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stress in a patient and deliberate way.
- Forklift operation and training certification preferred or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable working on your own with limited to no supervision.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Occasional travel may be required (local).
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
