**Responsibilities**:
- Perform a visual inspection of the machine prior to start-up (ensure all guards are in place prior to operation)
- Ensure you have all papers i. e. Schedule sheet, downtime, scaling sheets prior to start-up
- Ensure to have all necessary tools to perform the job upon the start of the shift and that they are clean and in good repair
- Ensure all assigned operator documentation is maintained and complete i.e. downtime, dough, and Scaling sheets
- React expediently and efficiently to all issues
- Report all deficiencies to Leadhand and Supervisor
- Keep work area and equipment i.e. belts, rollers etc., clean and tidy throughout the shift
- Work closely with Leadhand and Mixer
- Assist with loading or scaling of ingredients when necessary
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook
- Adhere to food safety practices and ensure they are being followed
- Perform all other duties assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Must work with speed and accuracy to keep up with the production process
- Effective communicator
- Must have excellent attendance and work habits
- GMP and safety awareness
