This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Champions a customer centric culture
- Maintains an external focus to understand competitive, economic, environment and technology changes that will impact product portfolio and recommend plans & strategies
- Enables portfolio strategy including product development and management, channel optimization, and development of product policies with a focus on risk return.
- Brings product expertise and intimately understand all aspects of product performance and drivers (market, financial, liquidity, capital, business) to set product features, achieve benefits and provide advice and recommendations to leadership team.
- Monitors portfolio dashboard and contributes to product pricing strategies that support stable and predictable performance and provide strategic differentiation and competitive advantage relative to industry peers.
- Simplifies features and functionality to profitably differentiate products in the marketplace based on a thorough understanding of competitor/ substitute products and product performance and deep customer knowledge/insights.
- Develops programs and campaigns (with database marketing and leads partners)
- Tracks campaign/program effectiveness by conducting post-campaign analysis and evaluation
- Collaborates with RESL Management and Project Leads to prioritize and to ensure highest value features/epics are developed first and aligned with the product vision.
- Leads initiatives specific to portfolio, understanding the external regulatory and legal environment and mitigating risks to an acceptable level.
- Rebuild/transform of the Mortgage ecosystem

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics or other relevant field
- A Post
- Graduate qualification would be an asset
- 8-10 years of experience in product development/management
- Experience in mortgage/Residential Real Estate
- English and French written and spoken communication skills will be preferred
- Curious and customer focused
- Requires specialized breadth of expertise and key understanding of Canadian home financing ecosystem
- Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Ability to lead others to solve complex problems and to work autonomously, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Ability to lead functional teams and projects
- Ability to work collaboratively in matrix organization
- Ability to effectively communicate difficult concepts and negotiates with stakeholders to adopt a different point of view
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast paced, multi tasking environment
