In this role, you will:
Provides, maintains, and ensures accurate inventory transaction and tracking information of goods. _( ex. system processing, picking, scanning) _Provides and ensures accurate material control and identification of materials. _(ex. cycle counting, location, Kanban audits)_ Controls and maintains the Kanban process within designated areas Leads the organization of the Manufacturing area’s production schedule Places orders for Kanban materials with internal and external suppliers Initiates expediting towards fulfillment of Finished Goods, and Materials shortages Liaisons with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Purchasing, Traffic, Materials, and Sales to maintain the areas of accountability.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

- 3-5 year experience in a manufacturing environment with specific exposure to production planning, materials, and electrical cell
- Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office as well as possess a working knowledge of a MRP / ERP system
- Read and understand drawings, wiring schematics, BOM review for material requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Post-secondary education in Operations or Materials Management. CPIM certification an asset
- Electrical assemblies
- Electrical distribution panels
