About the role
Day-to-day
Establish capacity levels for each cell within production and report on both cell and overall plant loading versus capacity
Determine and carry out daily production plan by scheduling production, assigning resources and ensuring required material is on hand
Provide and ensure accurate material control and identification of materials. (ex. cycle counting program, investigate & reconcile inventory discrepancies, warehouse transfer processes)
Assist in the maintenance of Kanban processes
Review PSI and Raw material requirements
Execute LN transactions (our ERP system)
Execute OTD (On Time Delivery) and Past Due analysis daily
Plan Finished Goods stock levels and maintenance of daily Hot List
Regular Involvement in coordinating Production throughout the Engineering change process (EN’s)
Establish and maintain daily production schedules with the Capacity Tool
Monitor and update of daily planning performance metrics
Expedite materials with Purchasing to meet Production objectives
Complete and post the daily Revenue Report (in a backup capacity)
Am I qualified?
2 - 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and/or related discipline with a demonstrated understanding of production operations and schedules required
Proven knowledge of Microsoft office (particularly EXCEL) and experience with BAAN LN or other mainframe based information systems including SAP, MIS
Strong ability to work and analyze data quickly and accurately while paying attention to detail
