**Position**:Quality Assurance Technician**

CES Transformer is a growing transformer manufacturer located in Markham, Ontario. Operating for over 35 years, CES is focused on the future and growth of the company. We are looking for a full-time team member for the role of **Quality Assurance Technician** to add to our motivated, entrepreneurial, and energetic team.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Perform all incoming inspections of fabricated products against customer-approved drawings.
- Carry out various tests such as pressure testing, holiday testing, visual inspections, leakage tests, and inspection of product packaging.
- Inspect and carry out all final inspections and documentation of finished products to ensure that they meet the customer’s requirements.
- Initiate and document all internal NCRs as quality issues arise.
- Visit customer sites or warehouses to correct quality issues while addressing external NCRs.
- Conduct internal audits or production inspections to maintain the Quality Assurance Systems.
- Ensures compliance and documentation of internal processes, and identifies, diagnoses, and follows up on nonconformities as it relates to issues within production.
- Carry out minor repairs made to the product.
- Work with cross-functional teams on inspections of materials, tests, and prototyping with Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, and production.

**Qualification, Skills and Experiences**
- Quality certifications and working knowledge.
- Strong customer relations skills and professionalism.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience in other manufacturing environments an asset.

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
