What You’ll be Doing:
- Perform mechanical services/repairs on certain Lexus and Toyota models.- Support Quality Assurance investigations, through parts testing and evaluations- Support Vehicle Safety and Compliance Liaison Office of Canada (VSCLOC) by confirming campaign technical instructions.- Support Accessory Dealer Marketing (ADM), test fitting accessories and accessories prototypes.- Technical Support for certain Lexus and Toyota events- Provide timely services, prioritizing Technical Assistance Request (TAR) Customer relations (CR) vehicle repair units, identifying exactly what the customer’s (internal or external) expectations are and ensuring that the vehicle is serviced in a manner that meets or exceeds those expectations.- Ensure that the services performed on vehicles and the functioning/operations of the Q.A. Shop are maintained at Toyota Service Management (TSM) standards.- Document and communicate with PQSS members and/or other departments/divisions on the services provided and/or the outcome of the test/evaluation results.- Initiates and implements appropriate ‘Kaizen’ efforts which results in work efficiencies relating to cost reductions or avoidance, improved time and process efficiencies.- Perform Pre-Delivery Correction (PDC) repairs for VSCLOC.- Maintain QA Service Shop cleanliness, organization and safety standards to meet TSM certification.

What You’ll Bring:
- College or University degree/diploma in Automotive- Certified Auto Technician license- Toyota/Lexus Master certification is an asset.- 5 years related experience.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Proven ability to initiate and improve work processes to increase efficiencies.- Ability to work with limited supervision.- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
