We are currently hiring for the position of:
**ASSISTANT PRODUCER, FESTIVAL STREET**

Provide administrative support to the Producer, Public Events including assistance with planning and support of TIFF Bell Lightbox and Festival production programming initiatives and support for internal team communications and documentation. During the Festival, the Assistant Producer will support all programming initiatives on Festival Street and the Third Floor Rejuvenation Project.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Shall include but not be limited to:_
- Provide administrative support to the Festival Street- Programming and TIFF Bell Lightbox Major Projects.- Create and distribute meeting agendas, schedules, tracking documents, and others as required and needed.- Assist in the planning and execution of the Festival Street Music Stage, Art Market and other programming initiatives.- Communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders to secure talent and organizations participating on Festival Street.- Assisting with operation planning including helping with production schedules.- Organize and administer accreditation badges as needed- Be a liaison for TIFF with all partner festivals and partner organizations participating in the Art Market, along with the Audience & Community Coordinator.- Liaise with the Festival Logistics team to ensure all programming initiatives for Festival Street can operate efficiently.- Disturbed cheques to performers and agencies.- General administrative duties as needed, including meeting minutes, critical path and schedule updates.- Supervise volunteers as required

**RATE OF PAY**:
- $24.00/Hourly

- June 5, 2023-September 29, 2023

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative or office environment.- Strong organizational capabilities; detail-oriented; able to multitask effectively.- Excellent communication and time management skills.- Film festival, outdoor or special event experience.- Knowledge of the arts and culture scene in Toronto is an asset.- Experience supervising volunteers is an asset.- Proficient using web-based file sharing (Google Docs), Microsoft Office Word, Excel spreadsheets and databases.- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.- Desire and ability to take initiative and coordinate projects.- Understanding and commitment to creating a superior product.- Ability to maintain efficiency while working under multiple, strict and tight deadlines.- Keen attention to detail.- An inquisitive, open-minded type, who seeks out new ways to support the development of the organization with an awareness of industry trends.- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends; experience working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.- Understanding and commitment to superior client servicing.- Ability to work and respond well in fast-paced and high pressure environments.- Standing required while on-site during events.- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends- This position requires being in office on a regular basis.
