For millions of teams working in dozens of industries, day-to-day business gets done on the phone. So why—despite the huge leaps we've taken in design and usability—does most business phone software still look, feel, and act like it was born in the 90s? OpenPhone is changing that.
We’re a new type of business phone with a mission to help people communicate better and be more productive.
We’re backed by Y Combinator and some of the best venture firms around including Tiger Global, Craft Ventures, Slow Ventures, and others. We take pride in providing an exceptional customer experience and a product people love, which is why we’re excited that our customers have rated us the #1 VoIP Provider on G2.
OpenPhone is the modern, sophisticated answer to the clunky, outdated phone systems that have been slowing down businesses for years. And after earning over 20,000 happy customers and $56 million in funding in just four years, it's safe to say we're onto something big.
**About the Role**
Do you love helping customers? Do you have an appreciation for new technology? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Do you want to make a meaningful impact at a high-growth startup?
We're looking to continue and grow our Commercial Account Executive / Product Specialist team at OpenPhone.
We're looking for someone who'll quickly become a product expert, helping small businesses and startups solve their communication challenges. You'll represent the voice of
the customer to our product team and play a key role in the development of a world-class buying experience. Does this sound interesting?
**Here are some things you’ll do**
- Be the first point of contact for prospects and customers evaluating OpenPhone.
- Become a product expert (and power user) of OpenPhone and its value proposition.
- Set up and host both 1-1 and 1-many demos like this one walking customers through the product and answering any questions.
- Come up with additional creative ways to deliver a best-in-class buying experience.
- Document your findings and feedback in the appropriate tools, while sharing your experience with the broader company.
- Provide support on additional sales projects as needed.
- You will document processes and enjoy finding more efficient ways to scale our workflows
**About you**
- You have at 2+ years of sales experience working for a SaaS company directly closing/ assisting a full sales cycle.
- You're a great communicator and are familiar with utilizing remote sales tools such as Zoom, Gong, Salesforce, Outreach etc.
- You have excellent communication skills and can effectively prioritize your work in a fast-paced environment.
- You are analytically minded and love solving ambiguous problems.
- You're self-motivated, hungry to learn and work both fast and smart.
- You are determined to meet and exceed revenue targets
- You're passionate about creating a delightful customer experience for every person you're in touch with.
- You love high-velocity sales cycles and have no problem keeping yourself organized while working on many opportunities at the same time
- You are motivated by developing and furthering a career in sales
As a fully remote company, we thrive asynchronously as a team. We are curious, ambitious, and dedicated to our work. We value trust above all else, and have a strong bias for action. If you're looking for a place to do your life's work, please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
- We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment. It is important that you are able to bring your authentic self to work every day. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status._
