Chilliwack, Canada Tostana Cafe Ltd. Full time

Tostana Cafe is a new, small business based in Chilliwack and currently operating as a coffee truck. Our goal is to establish a permanent, Colombian-inspired cafe and wholesale business, promoting our family-grown coffee from Colombia and bringing transparency to the world of specialty coffee through direct-trade.

We are seeking a multi-talented team member who can act as our digital and social marketing specialist as well a retail and wholesale sales representative. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible hours (30-40 hrs per week). The position is hybrid remote, with the ability to work from home most days on your own computer equipment, and in office once a week to touch base, fulfill online orders, and take trips to the coffee truck to gather digital content for our social media pages.

Duties
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
- Gather leads, reach out to potential wholesale customers (food stores, cafes, bakeries) to establish new accounts.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Identify opportunities for growth within wholesale accounts
- Identify customer needs and bring solutions forward for improvement
- Create and manage advertising campaigns across various channels, including digital and social media
- Maintain Brand Consistency, active scheduling, gathering content and regular publishing throughout social media
- Develop compelling marketing materials and content
- Manage the company's online presence, including website updates, SEO optimization, and e-commerce platforms
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to design and create visually appealing marketing materials
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics to assess performance and make data-driven decisions
- Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing

**Experience**:

- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar sales and marketing role.
- Minimim two (2) years of experience in customer service, either separate or combined with the above.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design purposes
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as WordPress or Shopify
- Experience in budgeting and financial analysis for marketing campaigns
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate with clients
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in market research techniques and tools, including Google Analytics

Knowledge & Skills:

- Passion for customer service and listening
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer proficiency including MS Office and CRM programs
