The Accounting Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer, or another role designated by the management, and is responsible for the consistent, timely and accurate completion of monthly financial results for Maple Brook Car Wash Fund LP and its affiliated entities (the “Company”). The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring processes and procedures are in place to safeguard the Company’s assets. The Accounting Manager role will be based in Toronto with the ability to work remote/hybrid. The dynamic of the position may evolve over time as the business needs change.

**Main Duties**
- Processing and reporting month-end close, including accurate and timely financial results and analysis
- Preparation and presentation of the monthly reporting packages to management
- Preparing quarterly Investor update memos and presentation materials
- Assisting management with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of KPI’s
- Understanding of the accounting procedures for projects under development/construction (“PUD”), maintaining PUD accounts, and providing management with necessary reporting including historical costs, cost to complete and vendor reconciliation
- Compilation of data from respective systems to present weekly sales reports
- Maintaining Investor capital accounts (contributions, distributions and share of earnings)
- Accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- CAPEX analysis and forecasting
- Cash flow forecasting, monitoring of bank covenants, and reporting packages
- Playing an active role in managing and continuous improvement of the preventive and detective internal controls and safeguarding the Company’s assets
- Documentation of standard operating procedures and training of colleagues to ensure consistency throughout the organization
- Revision and mapping of internal processes, making recommendations for process improvements
- Identification and maintenance of operational reporting
- Managing the payroll process
- Other duties and tasks may be required by management

**Requirements**:

- Canadian CPA designation or close to completion
- Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting or Business Management
- 5 + years’ experience in an Accounting & Reporting role with complete understanding of full cycle accounting/bookkeeping process
- Hands on knowledge with QuickBooks Online
- Highly proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and effective problem-solving capabilities
