Sales Associate / Lead Gen Specialist

**Where**: Toronto/Ontario (in-office)

Securicore is searching for a driven technical sales associate/ lead gen specialist to join our team. You must be a resident of Canada. This entry level position is for motivated individuals who are eager to get into IT sales and grow with the company. This is a full time in-office position. As a Sales Associate you will call net new prospects to find out their current IT needs and present them with our IT solutions. You will also need to achieve vendor product sales certification via online training. This is a position with compensation that can be tailored based on the sales associates confidence level (i.e. commission only or base plus commission). Some travel may be required. Having your own car with a valid driving license is a bonus. You will be reimbursed for mileage for company work.

You will be provided all necessary training resources and mentoring by peers.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent Verbal and written English communication. Ability to speak French is a bonus.
- Self Motivated to make (50-75 cold calls) per day* to find new opportunities and book meeting/demo.
- Experience with common Video Conferencing solutions - Zoom, Meet and Teams.
- Experience with G-Suite.
- Ability to work independently and use critical thinking skills to research competing products.
- Ability To develop an excellent rapport with customers and source new clients.
- Attend and achieve product sales certification to ensure Vendor compliance.
- Ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- Develop and perfect skills in marketing, selling and closing deals.
- Maintain a professional appearance and punctuality at all times.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proactive about learning new technologies: Desire to learn and enjoy intellectual challenges

and problem solving on a daily basis.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Establish technical needs of the customer and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Explain technical solutions to the customer in a way that is easily understandable
- Updating and maintaining CRM and case notes.
- Assist your sales engineers by gathering gather information for the client’s IT solution requirements for meeting / demo call.
- Follow through their entire cycle from pre-sales to post sales to ensure customer is satisfied with the solution.
- Assisting customers with escalating any support issues.
- Assist your manager with creating and generating solution quotes for clients
- Continue to build relationships with new and existing clients.
- Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with our vendors
- Ensuring sales targets are met and reporting to management.
- Provide input and recommendations to the clients with regards to IT technology and process.
- Contact our new and existing clients for feedback and for cross sales.
- Maintain prospecting status, document and communicate with the team.
- Assist and Support your team members.
