We’re looking for an individual to lead the concept development and execution of marketing materials for our social presence and traffic to our online and physical stores within the Capital. Come and join a winning team that demonstrates innovation, energy, creativity and vision. 

**Duties and responsibilities of this role**:

- Create and optimize social media content across various channels including strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement and grow our audience (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, Pinterest) 
- Edit, optimize and post on a daily basis with a focus on video assets ensuring that content is captured and used effectively across relevant platforms. 
- Research and provide recommendations based on best practices as well as industry and consumer trends, with a focus on emerging social trends. 
- Willing to travel between store locations and office for the purpose of securing content. 
**What You Will Bring**:

- 1-2 years of experience in the Social Media space for a brand. Experience with Graphic Design or creative development and execution is a huge asset. 
- Affinity for current and emerging social trends with the ability to incorporate learnings in delivering on-brand images and video. 
- Able to stay current on emerging social media trends and strategies, ensuring to maintain a progressive approach to producing social and video content. 
- A self-starter with excellent attention to detail; with organizational, communication and project management skills; and with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
- Ability to write must-click headlines and understand good social content that appeals to followers and viewers. 
- Experience with product shoots and/or working with models/influencers. 
- Demonstrated social media and website content creation & scheduling.

**Additional Information:  **
- On site with some remote possibilities within the week. 
- One year renewable full-time contract position. 
- First 3 months are probationary. 
- Occasional weekend hours may be required based on content needs and requirements and other business needs.
