**Position Title**:Space Management System Implementation Coordinator

**Status**: Initiatives/Opportunities (I/O)

**Duration**: 2 Years

**Hours**: 35 hours per week

**Faculty/Department**: Office of the Registrar

**Campus/Location**: North and/or Lakeshore Campus must be comfortable working hybrid, a minimum of three (3) days on-site.

**Salary**: Payband I (Min) $36.55 (Max) $42.36

**What you will do**:
Under Administrative direction of the Manager, Scheduling, Registration and Curriculum, the Space Management System Implementation Coordinator co-ordinates the implementation, configuration, set-up and training for activities related to the implementation of the space management tool, Campus.

Duties include the planning and preparation according to the project timeline and deliverables during the project. The incumbent will also be instrumental in recommending enhancements to the college scheduling system and processes in relation to utilizing the new tool and maximizing overall space utilization. The incumbent creates, documents and coordinates testing with the development team; writes user manuals and other documentation; creates training material and trains users on new capabilities and ensures data standards and security are maintained.

The incumbent requires excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed to present information. Analytical skills are required to pull useful information from different sources. The ability to work as part of a team is also an important requirement.

The incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years related experience and should demonstrate the following:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency working with various systems and databases. Example: Banner, Timetabler.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to explain complex processes.
- Sound experience working in the post-secondary education environment with strong understanding of college business processes.
- The incumbent must be a mature individual who is able to solve analytical problems, be well organized and possess leadership qualities.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of MS Access and Excel
- Experience working with large databases to produce query and reports using data mining tools such as Cognos and SQL.
- This position requires someone who can work well under pressure and deadlines and can handle many tasks and projects simultaneously.
- The incumbent must be able to make and defend decisions; possess excellent interpersonal skills for advising and conflict resolution.
- The incumbent must be able to interpret guidelines and be able to determine when decisions need to be reviewed / revised.
- The incumbent must possess the ability to make quick decisions while paying attention to detail and ensure that precedents are not set unintentionally. (Certain scheduling decisions may reflect specific circumstances but could be problematic if they became a common practice.)

**Hours of Work**: 35 hours per week.
To be scheduled on-site and remotely anytime between Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
