We’re looking for an energetic VP B2B Data Solutions who can work hand in hand with the CDO, Business, Product, Sales, Technology, Operations and the data team to deliver scalable data driven products, insights and solutions that fuel revenue growth across our growing B2B business units.

To do this job, you’ll need to be:

- An excellent communicator - As a senior leader, you must be able to clearly communicate the business benefits of highly complex ideas and technical concepts to Executive Leadership and Senior business stakeholders with the ability to connect data initiatives to the organization’s overall strategies and business goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- An inspiring and results-oriented leader - In this role you will lead and manage a team of global Data Solutions, Data Science and Data Analytics professionals. The ability to build, inspire and empower high performing teams with a proven track record of delivering quality data solutions with tangible business outcomes is required for this role.
- A collaborative relationship builder - As a Senior member of the Data Leadership team, you will be required to establish strong working relationships with Executives and Leaders across all Dow Jones business units and corporate functions to drive alignment and support for Dow Jones wide strategic Data Programs and initiatives. In addition you will proactively identify opportunities to connect and bring stakeholder teams together across the organization to collaborate on Data solutions to advance shared business goals and objectives.
- Ability to think strategically and oversee tactical execution with a data-driven mindset that prefers measurable outcomes to hyperboles.
- Have a minimum of 15 years’ experience working at the intersection of business, product, customer success and technology with a strong Data focus.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in a leadership role including at least 2 years of responsibility for 10+ people.
- Previous experience designing and delivering data solutions relating to B2B and B2C digital products, sales, marketing and services is required.

Responsibilities for this role include:

- Champion program delivery of Dow Jones wide strategic data initiatives including defining program roadmaps, facilitating required team workshops and meetings
- Lead discussions with Executive Leadership and Senior Management to align on a roadmap of data/analytics priorities. Additionally, provide timely status reports.
- Launch and own a portfolio of data driven projects and initiatives that enable the B2B and Energy business, sales, finance and product teams to make data driven decisions and generate additional revenue.
- Drive prioritization & requirements for new requests and collaborate closely with Business Stakeholders across the B2B and Energy business units to develop and deliver the B2B Data Analytics/Data Engineering Roadmap.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders across the organization (Product Strategy, Product Mgmt, Finance, Operations, Sales and Marketing etc) and proactively identify data opportunities to drive additional B2B product revenue, improve efficiency and scalability as well as potential new revenue streams.
- Lead Identification, development and oversee testing of new data led products that can be taken to market to drive incremental B2B sales.
- Drive the development of fully automated, real time, data led self-serve B2B dashboards for quick and efficient management decision making.
- Ensure all company and department activities adhere to legal guidelines and policies.
- Lead data creation, collection and compliance efforts by overseeing the creation of data requirements and technical specifications
- Manage a team of data scientists and data analysts to deliver on the company’s and department’s goals and objectives,
