**PRIMARY PURPOSE**:
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Research and Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities from various sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate entities aligned with our Civiconnect's mission.
- Proposal Development: Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate our organization's projects, goals, and impact to potential funders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and other relevant stakeholders to gather information and data necessary for proposal development, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
- Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop accurate and detailed project budgets that align with proposal narratives and meet funder requirements.
- Calendar Management: Maintain an organized calendar of grant opportunities, deadlines, and submission requirements.
- Grant Compliance: Stay informed about grant regulations and reporting requirements to ensure compliance throughout the grant lifecycle.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential funders, seeking opportunities to engage and communicate our organization's impact and progress.
Impact Assessment: Collaborate with the program evaluation team to gather data and information necessary for progress reports and grant-related evaluations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new developments in grant writing and fundraising to enhance the quality and effectiveness of grant proposals.
- Handle administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (communications, English, nonprofit management, etc.). Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven track record of successful grant writing and securing funding for non-profit organizations or similar entities.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and proposals.
- Excellent research skills to identify potential funding opportunities.
- Proficiency in budget development and financial reporting.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with program evaluation and impact assessment concepts.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools, Microsoft Office suite, and grant-related software.

**ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be between 18-29 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in part-time or full-time studies at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

**You will need to provide certain administrative documents if offered employment, including**:

- Proof of ID (copy of Birth Certificate, Passport, Permanent Resident card)
- Proof of Enrollment for post-secondary college or university indicating enrollment during employment
- TD1 & TD1ON completed
- Direct deposit slip from a financial institution

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $630.00 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
