**Indigenous Internship Program**

The Indigenous Internship Program (IIP) is a 12-month paid internship program designed to provide recent Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) post-secondary graduates, with the opportunity to gain professional level work experience and a pathway through which they can build and develop transferable skills that can be used to gain sustained employment in their field of choice.

You must self-identify as an Indigenous person to be eligible for this program. The term Indigenous refers to individuals who identify as being descended from the original inhabitants (the first peoples) of what is now known as Canada. In this context, Indigenous people are First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**:
**Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs (1 position remote/work from home)**

**Agriculture Development Branch**:
**Treasury Board Secretariat (1 position at 375 University Ave, Toronto)**

**Risk Integration Office**:

As an Intern, you will:

- Be part of a project team leading the implementation of a digital enterprise risk management solution for the OPS.
- Support the maintenance of the project plan.
- Take part of various project governance meetings in a secretariat role (e.g., agendas, action items, etc.)
- Support the development of project deliverables.

**Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery (1 position at 159 Cedar St, Sudbury or 200 First Ave, North Bay)**

**Enterprise Financial Services Division**:
The Enterprise Financial Services Division (EFSD), Financial Processing Operations Branch (FPOB) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Intern to support OPS clients by participating in projects that promote streamlined and efficient financial processing solutions. FPOB is committed to providing cost-effective, reliable and efficient delivery of financial business services which include:

- Accounts payable and non-tax accounts receivable transaction processing
- Revenue management and collection
- Purchase order processing
