**SUMMARY**

The position is responsible to perform a wide variety of duties to provide administration support to the Human Resources department. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Training, the Human Resources Assistant is an ambassador of the Corps and is expected to provide positive service and professional representation of our brand and product to all clients, customers and Commissionaires.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Input and maintain Human Resources database and files.
- Maintain department filing system to ensure availability of information when needed.
- Assist with creating and preparing various reports and spreadsheets.
- Review and proof documents as requested by the Director of HR and Trg.
- Assist with maintenance and revision of all related policies and procedures.
- Assist with recruitment efforts and campaigns.
- Assist with recruitment processes and onboarding.
- Assist the training department as required.
- Assume other duties as assigned.

**SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Security operations experience seen as an asset.
- Ability to self-motivate and function with minimum supervision in a multi-faceted environment.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Solid interpersonal skills with exceptional tact, diplomacy, and discretion
- Function efficiently and effectively under very strict deadlines ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Ability to work in a flexible schedule.
- Clear criminal background check and able to obtain a security clearance.

**Physical Demands**

The employee may frequently be required to sit and use hands to manipulate office equipment including a computer keyboard and mouse.

The employee is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time.

The employee must be able to be mobile and operate a motor vehicle for long periods of time.

**Successful interviewees that do not yet have this training and are considered for employment will be offered the opportunity to complete this training through the Commissionaires before they are assigned to a position.
