**_Marino's Fine Car Subaru_** is looking for an Assistant Parts Manager in Etobicoke

Marino's Fine Car Subaru is part of Marino's Automotive Group, a family-owned and operated a company that has been operating in the GTA for 50 years.

The Assistant Parts Manager is responsible for developing ongoing and long-term relationships with clients. As a team player, the Assistant Parts Manager strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership.

**Job Duties**:

- Organizes, supervises, & directs the work of the Parts Department & personnel engaged in receiving, issuing, & delivering supplies & equipment.
- Helps Parts manager to manages, and monitors parts department reporting systems to meet company requirements.
- Reviews vendor invoices for correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
- Manages parts inventory levels and monitors old slow-moving parts inventories to be classified as obsolete inventory.
- Handles customer complaint problems pertaining to parts and supplies.
- Works with Parts Managers to maintain adequate supplies and parts inventory.
- Is responsible for the security of inventory and for analyzing the quality of parts.
- Must time inventory purchases to coincide with sales and special initiatives in order to take advantage of savings.
- Is responsible for training and leading the Parts Department team and for reviewing team performance on a regular basis, according to dealership policy.
- Stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjusting inventory system and assuring all safety risks
- Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures; complying with codes
- Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals, import experience
- Great attitude with a high-energy personality
- 3-5+ years Automotive Dealership Assistant Parts Management experience
- CDK or ADP experience
- Fixed knowledge in overall operations, management, and retail area a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, negotiation skills, and strong selling skills
- Excellent people management skills, demonstrating an ability to organize the work, attention to detail
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure with the ability to diffuse tense situations
- Strong problem-solving skills & a strong sense of personal responsibility and reliability, with the desire to work as an integral member of a team
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
