Kitchen Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop menus and specials
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new kitchen staff
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of interviewing and hiring processes
- Familiarity with bartending or beverage service is a plus
- Understanding of food industry trends and best practices
