**Job Summary**
Are you an experienced carpenter who’s ready to take your career to the next level? At PHS Renovations, we’re seeking a carpenter with strong skills in residential construction. You will be building, installing, and repairing structures, all while ensuring projects meet local building codes and high-quality standards. You'll also have the opportunity to lead your own small crew, supervise on-site work, and have room to grow in the company.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble various materials to construct walls, floors, ceilings, cabinets, and various other items.
- Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs.
- Inspect and repair structures, and finishes
- Operate and maintain tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Lead and supervise a small team of apprentices or junior carpenters.
- Collaborate with other trades and communicate with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.

**Qualifications**
- **Red Seal Certification** or **Equivalent Experience** as a journeyperson carpenter.
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction (preferred).
- Proficiency with carpentry tools, techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and safe, reliable transportation to support all of your tools you'll need (a truck is ideal).
