**Summary of the Role**
The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative’s primary role is to promote and sell the Company products in order to help achieve revenue and margin growth objectives.
**Responsibilities**
- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- When training is completed will partners with Account Managers to provide sales quotes
- Processes incoming inquiries into company sales system
- Quotes customers using working knowledge of product
- Successfully achieves budgeted Service Center sales goals
- Monitors delivery date commitments and expedites where appropriate
- Builds and maintains strong internal and external relationships
- When training is completed will provides technical/service support to account management, service center management and internal and external customers
**Skills and Abilities**
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure
- Must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to successfully utilize the company software
**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of experience in industrial inside sales or customer service preferred
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- PC proficiency, customer relationship management tools.
