digital Media Intranet Manager

**Position Summary... **:The Digital Media Intranet Manager is a critical member of the Walmart Canada Retail Operations Team who is a core contributor of our digital roadmap for a specific set of systems and platforms that support our retail operations. The Incumbent owns the digital strategy, WIRE and evolution plan, and delivers on the vision working cross-functionally with other Walmart divisions. They will also have a strong understanding of creative direction, media production, retail and best practices to ensure the roadmap is aligned with and optimized for the best possible customer experience also leveraging Walmart global capabilities. The Digital Media Intranet Manager is a leader and an excellent communicator inside the team, to leadership, to business partners, and to wider audiences and is also expected to find and use data to build and present business cases to support the priorities on their roadmap.
**What you'll do...**:
1.Responsible for developing and maintaining the Wire to strengthen company execution, with a focus on simplification and standardization. Defining the digital roadmap and backlog for company intranet, working collaboratively with stakeholders to prioritize new capabilities based on clear business cases and gaining alignment from a stakeholder steering group.

3.Act as a system SME, understanding how stakeholders use the wire and providing vision and assistance to teams in getting the most from the capabilities we enable.
5.Influence senior leadership across the business (Senior Director and above) to support the wire and channel innovation. Actively support the systems and capabilities in your portfolio by promoting defect fixes, frequently occurring support problems, and efficiency drains into your backlog to ensure ongoing optimization.
6.Partnering with cross functional business units on developing best practices, processes and governance. Lead cross-functional teams to develop bi-weekly broadcasts, web platforms, video productions, technical writing documents, design and editing.
7.Responsible for conceptualizing, designs, testing, implementation and measurement of new systems and platforms to support process change initiatives. Lead the digital content strategy, providing strategic planning, exploration, execution, usability experience (UX), creative management, vendor management, global leveraging, analytics, and forecasting.
8.Responsible overall for digital strategy, creative direction and media production/vendor management. Communicates actively with the broad stakeholder group through information sharing, listening sessions, training programs, clear documentation, and strategic vision presentations.
