**Job Title**: Snow Removal Operator (Tractor with Metal Pless Blade)

**Job Type**: On-Call, Seasonal

**Location**: St. Thomas, Ontario

**Pay Range**: $25-30 per hour, based on experience

**Job Overview**:
Kettle Creek Landscaping is seeking reliable and experienced Tractor Operators for snow removal operations during the winter season. This is an on-call role, ideal for skilled operators capable of handling snow events as they arise, including overnight, weekends, and holidays. Operators will use tractors equipped with 10-16 foot Metal Pless blades to clear large commercial and industrial properties, ensuring safe and accessible conditions for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate tractors equipped with Metal Pless blades to clear snow from large parking lots, driveways, and roadways.
- Maintain awareness of property specifics and surroundings to avoid obstacles and ensure comprehensive clearing.
- Perform routine checks on equipment before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate efficient snow clearing operations.
- Follow Kettle Creek Landscaping’s safety procedures and quality standards to provide consistent, high-quality service.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: At least 1 year of experience operating tractors or similar heavy equipment, particularly in winter conditions using large snow blades or plows.
- **Availability**: On-call availability for snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to reach job sites quickly.
- **Skills**: Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in varying winter weather conditions.
- **Requirements**: Reliable transportation to and from job sites, a valid driver’s license, and a high level of punctuality and dependability.

**Compensation**:

- **Hourly Rate**: $25-30 per hour, based on experience and skills.
- Additional hours may be available depending on snow volume and client needs.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Thomas, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Tractor Operating: 1 year (preferred)
- Snow Removal: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
