**Truck Driver - Class 1**
RIMEX is the leading custom manufacturer of all off road wheel and rim assemblies. RIMEX’s primary markets include mining, forestry, agriculture and industrial equipment, specializing in haul trucks and loaders. RIMEX also offers a full range of complementary products to match their wheel counterparts.
We have a Full-Time position available for an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our Warehouse operation in Langley. This is a Monday to Friday position - 7:30am to 4:00pm. Local driving only.
Safety is the #1 priority in RIMEX. We are OSSE Certified by the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC(WorkSafe BC Certificate of Recognition)

**Responsibilities**
- Inspect truck to make sure that it is safe to operate and fill out the inspection sheet pre-trip; report any infractions to management
- Drive the semi-trailer truck in a safe manner to various locations as instructed
- Ensure that each load that is being transported is safely secured meeting DOT Regulations.
- Ensure that vehicles are properly maintained mechanically and report to management when the vehicle needs to be serviced.
- Ensure all Annual and Periodic Inspections required by DOT for the tractor and trailer are kept up to date along with Vehicle Insurance.
- Clean the truck at the end of each trip/shift
- Perform various warehouse duties as instructed by management when required (Parts picking, Packaging, Load & Unload of Transport Trailer - Training will be provided)
**Education and/or Experience**:
- Valid Class 1 license required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience driving semi-truck with a clean drivers abstract
- Forklift experience an asset

- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Able to sit for long periods of time
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Familiarity with agricultural, mining and/or manufacturing industries and experience with rims/wheels an asset
