**Department Overview**
- As a member of the
- ** Business Banking Delivery Practice team**,
- **The Project Manager I** may lead the delivery of an individual or set of interrelated projects requiring an integrated and cohesive approach to delivery, ensuring there is a collaborative approach to engagement of partners (Internal/External) and vendors, completion of project artifacts, compliance, and financial reporting.
- The Project Manager I will ensure that all mandatory analysis, monitoring and reporting of required Governance artifacts and process are completed in addition to complex financial project analysis and management across multiple teams and business segments. Also key to this role is the ability to communicate with established stakeholders, monitor risks and ensure project closure requirements are met and/or obtained for Audit purposes.
- Plan, manage and deliver distinct projects through all specific phases (Agile and PDLC), in alignment with business and/or enterprise strategies. Provide leadership, direction and coaching to teams(s) while partnering with business and executive stakeholders within a single or across multiple Lines of Business (LoB).**BREADTH & DEPTH**
- Manages projects from Initiation to Closure
- Manage medium risk projects
- Management direction or executive oversight is provided as necessary
- Typically leads project spend ranging from $500M-$3MM
- May indirectly manage a cross-LoB Project team consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs and Technology Resources where applicable on the project
- May manage a number of smaller projects at any given time. Time horizon of projects generally range from short to medium term

**Job Requirements**
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of PDLC and Agile practices, procedures and principles of project management
- Strong financial management with respect to tracking, forecasting and managing project budgets
- Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Commitment to team development
- Team player with ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Ability to create and foster a cohesive team and promote a positive work environment for all employees
- Ability to think strategically and possess strong business acumen
- Proven ability to stay focused under pressure, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations
- Experienced change agent, able to guide cross-functional teams through complex change from concept to execution
- Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to cope with rapid change
- Strong leadership skills - lead by example, champion change and develop a highly motivated team to consistently exceed expectations
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive good judgment—to determine which issues to escalate vs. to resolve independently, and provide suggestions for possible resolution
- 3-5 year's experience in agile delivery of technology projects
- Safe Agile an asset
- Certified Scrum Master an asset
