**Receiver - McPhillips Branch**

As a valuable member of our team you will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording of stock receipts into the POS system, and communicating to appropriate staff and customers its receipt and location. This position manages the review and correction of stock receipt discrepancies as it relates to stock errors and invoice discrepancies. Your duties will also include:

- Receives merchandise into computer system using bar codes
- Checks packing slips and notes any discrepancies and checks merchandise for damage
- Verifies freight on shipments and tracks merchandise shipping arrangements as required
- Locates purchase orders, verifies quantities, price matches to purchase order, also tags merchandise if order is for a customer and contacts customer to advise merchandise has arrived
- Works with sales and delivery staff to organize delivery of goods as required
- Investigates and ensures all discounts are correctly entered into purchase order prior to receipt
- Unloads incoming merchandise and building materials
- Communicates any merchandise changes to management
- Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be physically able to repeatedly lift/carry over 50lbs
- The ability to work in a team environment is essential
- Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
- Must enjoy a fast paced environment
- Display a desire to expand on their knowledge and skill set
- On the job training will be provided
- 1-year or less of previous experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
