**Job Overview**:
As an Administrative Assistant at Barrie Equipment Sales, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations, supporting various departments, and enhancing customer interactions. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Office Administration**: Manage and maintain office supplies, coordinate deliveries, and ensure the office environment is organized and welcoming.
- **Data Entry & Record Keeping**: Accurately enter data into company databases, maintain digital and physical filing systems, and organize relevant documentation.
- **Support for Sales & Operations Teams**: Assist the sales and operations teams with scheduling, order processing, and general administrative support.
- **Scheduling & Calendar Management**: Organize appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring optimal time management for team members.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, and other documents as required by various departments.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in an office or customer service environment.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office management software.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous phone manner.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Problem-solving**: Resourceful with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
