**Location**:We are seeking a HR Coordinator based in our Milton Factory location to join the HR team.

**What you will be doing**:

- Liaises with benefits carrier, third-party administrator of Short-Term Disability (STD) program, HR Helpline and supervisors/managers to address needs of employees who are going off and already off on disability leave, and those returning from such leaves
- Enters employee changes and job requisitions into HRIS
- Assists with resolving matters related to payroll for hourly employees
- Updates factory communication boards
- Maintains employee files and training records
- Issues security access/Dayforce clock cards for all factory employees and contractors; manages level of access
- Coordinates local employee engagement events
- Pick-up and drop-off mail at head office; pick-up mail from mailbox
- Order supplies (e.g. office supplies, canteen, etc.) as required
- Assist with onsite tours and event arrangements (e.g. PPE, room setup, meals, etc.)
- Other administrative job tasks as assigned

**What you bring**:

- 2-3 years of prior experience in a human resources, administrative assistant, or office assistant environment
- Experience of working in a manufacturing or production environment is required
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with HRIS preferred
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and strong desire for accuracy
