**Role Responsibilities**:
Working with the Manager of Legislative Services and Policy Coordination and other team members you will:
- Collaborate with colleagues across the division to provide monthly and weekly updates on important policy projects, departmental mandate items and policy committee scheduling.
- Work individually or as part of a team on the following documents including briefing notes, memos, Legislation Charts, speaking notes, Cabinet Policy Committee documents, Recommendations for Orders in Council, and Ministerial Orders.
- Work with Legislative Counsel Office and program area staff on the development of regulations and legislative packages.
- As part of the broader legislative services team, assist team members and the Manager to complete large legislative projects and finalize legislative packages.

**Qualifications**:
University Degree plus a minimum of 2 years progressively responsible related experience in policy analysis and development; or equivalent as described below:
Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education
Assets:
- University degree in law, political science, public policy, public administration, social sciences, or a related academic field (eg. Communications, English, History, Sociology, Law and Society).
- Experience developing, coordinating, and working with tracking processes and documents on a division or department-wide basis.
