About the Job

We are seeking an experienced administrative officer to join our team as a policy implementation specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, establishing work priorities, and ensuring that procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Review and Implementation: The administrative officer will review and evaluate new administrative procedures and implement them accordingly.
  • Work Prioritization: The candidate will establish work priorities and ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Office Administration: The administrative officer will carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including co-ordinating and planning for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: The candidate will assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls. They will also assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: The administrative officer will recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) and provide them with support.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on the location and experience of the candidate. The company offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Working Conditions

The administrative officer will work 35 hours per week and will be based at the head office of Royal Canada Homes Inc. The work term is permanent.
