A key enabler to THP’s Foundation of Clinical Excellence is People Centred Care. The Patient Experience portfolio, in collaboration with stakeholders across THP, will provide, data, analytics and insights to support the delivery of high quality care and exceptional experiences to enable THP’s mission of ‘A New Kind of Health Care for a Healthier Community’.

Reporting to the Director, Office of Patient Experience, the
**Lead, Patient Experience Measurement and Planning **is responsible to lead, advise, and coordinate analytics insights received from surveys and other patient experience measures (i.e. focus groups, Patient Relations data). The lead will provide innovative ideas, analysis, direction, and recommendations to Leaders at all levels on corporate performance and/or implementation plans. This includes:

- Lead the roll out and adoption of the new Patient Experience data vendor solution across the organization
- Lead the identification and alignment of Short, Medium and Long-Term improvement initiatives
- Ensure integration with QRP (Quality/Risk/Practice), PSC (Patient Services Committee), and BPO (Business Performance Office)
- Leverage integrated operational insights, best practices, tools (i.e. Epic) and partners (i.e. OHA, CIHI, IBH) capabilities to inform improvement opportunities & deliverables.

The Lead will be the first contact for external vendor in order to understand and promote the full capabilities of this solution as well as trouble shoot any problems identified by THP users.

The Lead will work in partnership with programs across the hospital, while working directly with Quality, Decision Support and Patient Relations. This will include proactively creating and maintaining relationships with teams and leaders in order to understand program needs and work proactively with managers to interpret unit level results and develop action plans to improve the patient experience.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in a health or business related field (or evidence of working towards) required.
- 3-5 years of formal people/project leadership experience, and at least 5 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication, critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of healthcare, hospitals, healthcare systems strongly preferred.
- Experience in leading large scale change initiatives strongly preferred.
- Strong skills and training in project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Demonstrated collaboration and influencing skills in a complex, high volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to build effective working relations with a variety of stakeholders and teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation creation/delivery skills.
