We are looking for a talented full-time **Manager Training & Scheduling** to join our team to help us continue to provide our clients with quality & efficiency. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, having the ability to self-manage and organize daily schedules while improvising, when required, is extremely important as well as being detail oriented and possessing excellent time management skills. This position would involve extensive communication skills as you deal with the scheduling of over 200 employees including drivers, package handlers, warehouse associates & administrative staff at multiple locations in Mainland**, BC**.

Corporate Couriers Logistics (CCL) is the premier courier company, proudly serving our customers in British Columbia for the past 30 years. With a fleet of over 800 drivers and bicycle couriers, we are the largest same-day courier and offer a wide range of services that include warehousing and distribution services, same-day delivery, fleet outsourcing, intercity, and medical delivery. We have created a fully integrated delivery system that utilizes the most advanced dispatch software and barcode scanning systems.

**Role: Manager Training & Scheduling - Full time (Onsite)**

- 1501 Hartley Avenue, Coquitlam

**OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE**
- In-charge of entire hiring and scheduling operations
- Effectively manage a team of Scheduling Managers, Scheduling Assistant, & Recruiters
- Liaise between the teams and different departments within the company to convey information, ensure understanding, and make sure all expectations are met in an accurate and timely manner
- Strategically plan each step forward at all intervals to continuously improve the scheduling and hiring processes

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Effectively communicate with the multiple teams of Schedulers, Recruiters and other internal teams to coordinate scheduling and hiring activities over multiple locations on Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland, BC
- Identify process requirements and solutions to short term and long-term scheduling and hiring challenges
- Recommend and update processes and procedures to improve team performance
- Stay on top of scheduling and hiring needs to make sure there is a cost-effective plan to continue to meet the client expectations
- Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
- Generate progress reports for the executive management

- MS Office Suite with a high proficiency with Excel and a passion to be proficient with software programs required for customer success
- Proven successful track record of working in a high-pressure environment
- Weekend availability to handle escalations

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding expectations in similar role
- 2 - 3 years experience in related position with at least an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related degree in transportation or logistics.
