We are in urgent need of a skilled, trustworthy Bookkeeper to maintain and to help implement our financial records, including data entry, receivables, payables, and financial reports and who will work closely with our Finance Manager.

Our Bookkeeper’s main responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company in a timely manner and ensure members accounts are up to date.

**Full Responsibilities**

Full responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Record into Quickbooks all financial transactions
- Prepare members invoices, follow up payments, send statement of accounts and collection letters
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
- Liaise with vendors and verify invoice details, code them prior to payment
- Assist in the annual audit of the books of the company by providing supporting documents and schedules
- Interphase with CHFCA association software (Quick Books - Naylor interphase)
- Coordinate with Finance manager if unsure how to code revenue and expenses
- Maintain an excel sheet of credit card transactions and expense reimbursements
- Maintain accounting records including maintenance of Expensify reports

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven bookkeeping experience (5 years)/ diploma in accounting an asset
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting revenue and expenses
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures/ financial records
- Data entry skills, excellent accuracy and organizational skills and a critical thinker
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Take initiative, prioritize and all meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate financial information to broad audience.
- Team player, comfortable working in a fast paced, remote environment

**Qualifications**
- QuickBooks Online (required)
- 5 years in Bookkeeping (required)
- Tech Savvy
