Summary:
The Die Maker is responsible for assisting with the production of steel-rule dies for the Die Cutters. The individual ensures conformance to all Health and Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, quality and efficiency requirements at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and load the Gerber die maker.
- Prepare boards to be made into dies.
- Perform repairs to defective dies by removing and replacing rules.
- Adhere to all quality standards and procedures within the department.
- Demonstrate a sense of accountability and customer-service orientation to ensure the Die Cutting department is supplied with dies in a timely manner.
- Perform housekeeping and other related duties.

Qualifications:
Work experience in a related industry is preferred. This is an entry-level role to the Die Making department. Must have experience using hand tools and basic shop tools such as saws. Successful applicants will be required to to complete a hands-on mechanical aptitude test.
