The Environment Manager manages the Environment and Quality components in order to ensure site deliveries at the right quality level by cascading & implementing the Site objectives within the Quality and Safety organization and implements Quality and Safety policy & tools at Site level.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, maintain and revise, as necessary, the Occupational Health, Safety Environmental & Security program for the TransEd scope of the work in accordance with all applicable laws.
- Develop Quality Culture & Right First Time Approach
- Ensure consistency of Quality Control Documents (QCD) objectives and the contractual/regulatory obligations applicable to the project
- Drives continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce the CONQ, NCR, Safety issues and Demerit
- Deploy Quality Policy within the management committee of the Site
- Responsible for Quality and Safety assessment of the products & services delivered, according to the contractual quality requirements.
- Increase Customer satisfaction through periodic meetings, Customers Surveys, product delivery controls,
- Manage and escalate Top issues impacting safety and customer
- Lead, Manage and develop Quality teams, using quality school, expertise, and APSYS.
- Deploy standard tools and indicators, and contribute to their improvement
- Provide leadership in accident and near miss investigations. Lead workplace hazard analyses and develop mitigation action plans. Assure proper PPE, HS&E plans and training are available. Enforce hazardous waste control and other applicable environmental standards
- Ensure Process governance, Risk and Opportunity management with site interested parties.
- Evaluate by Internal Audits the quality performance in each process.
- Ensure the right update about the Quality (QMS) Reference documents, using REX process.
- Ensure site QMS conformance against Alstom standards, Customer standards and ISO9001/IRIS requirements/CMMI/ECM

Qualification:

- Master’s degree in either Health and Safety, General Management, or Quality Management
- 10 years of experience Quality, project and operation
- Minimum of five years of health, safety, and environmental experience within construction industry
- Knowledge of local rail safety standards will be an asset
