**Job Summary**
Reporting directly to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supports CareRx people leaders in delivering strategic and effective people management practices and is a trusted coach in improving their leadership capabilities. The HRPB develops trusted relationships with the assigned client group to understand their business and people priorities. Working as part of a team of HRBPs within the People and Culture team, this position provides strategic Human Resources guidance and solutions to all stakeholders to address complex issues and changing needs in a performance driven environment.
**This position will require the Human Resources Business Partner to work on site at our Oakville location 2 days per week as well as travel throughout the region multiple times per month (Windsor, London, St. Catharines, Cambridge & Toronto)**
**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide proactive Human Resources advice and counsel to people leaders in the areas of employee, performance management, recruitment and selection, retention, talent management, compliance, employee engagement, health and safety, and change management.
- Support the People and Culture strategy to attract, retain, develop and motivate employees while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, shaping and driving solutions to address any gaps or risks.
- Facilitate and embed performance management discipline across the client group, ensuring consistency of approach and alignment with CareRx practices.
- Advise the client group on compensation related efforts including compensation planning to ensure internal and external equity. Proactively identify shifts in external market that would necessitate a compensation review. Actively lead the compensation review in partnership with the Total Rewards team.
- Actively participate in year-end compensation review exercise across the client group and support the distribution of employee letters. Ensure compensation decisions are in alignment with performance and internal equity conversations.
- Analyze and present workforce data and analytics to the pharmacy leaders to facilitate action planning that meets the business needs.
- In partnership with their leaders, lead and manage organization design changes. Develop decks for approval, communication cascades and change plans to support. Partner with the leader during the conversations and communications of changes.
- Develop communication to facilitate the change management process and coaching people leaders and employees to assist in understanding and supporting new initiatives and changes.
- Lead complex absence management, accommodation, disability and return to work cases within the assigned client group.
- Partner with people leaders to ensure employee relations issues are handled professionally and timely and to minimize risks to CareRx. De-escalate employee situations and manage conflict effectively. Be perceived as an objective and impartial participant.
- Lead workplace investigations, including harassment investigations, and make related recommendations for resolution outcomes. Ensure investigation notes are complete and appropriate.
- Drive compliance and provide guidance on Health and Safety consistent with legislation and CareRx’s policies and Wellness Strategy. Ensure all locations are audit ready from a health and safety standpoint.
- Lead and/or participate in projects as per the People and Culture roadmap.
- Facilitate active listening sessions within the client group throughout the year, and lead the action planning sessions as per the results of the employee engagement survey.
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- CHRP designation or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience in a multi-site environment work
