Receptionist/Admin support

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Part-time hours**: 25 - 36 hours per week
**Salary Range: $19 -$ 20 per hour **depending on experience and qualifications.

**Schedule**:
Tuesday to Saturday 5-8 hour shifts
Afternoons/evenings with some flexibility. Saturday and evening availability a must.

**PURPOSE**:Provide the best patient experience possible by giving welcoming and competent service. This is a busy clinic and the position performs a variety of reception and office support duties including answering phone calls, welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, billing and ensuring treatment rooms are stocked, tidy and set up.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Managing patient flow, ensuring everyone is where they should be at the right time
- Billing extended health benefits
- Have an understanding of each practitioner, modalities, and their specialties
- Monitoring present and future schedule
- Working as a team and being proactive in looking ahead in the week to fill appointments and do what needs to be done.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience in a wellness or health clinic
- Previous experience working with Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Psychotherapists
- Some previous experience working with JaneApp or another EMR software an asset

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and changing technologies
- Strong ability to problem solve and be resourceful
- Ability to take initiative
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills when working with large amounts of detailed information

**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**:

- Welcome attitude to patients and treat them kindly and with respect. Must be thoughtful and discreet with understanding that patient privacy and confidentiality are a must.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with other members of staff
