triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a **Digital Learning Experience, Team Lead** interested in joining our Digital Learning team.

**Primary Purpose**:
The Digital Learning Experience, Team Lead (DLETL) will oversee the review and revision of all courses delivered on triOS College’s Learning Management System (LMS) that are within the scope of the Academic Services department. Further, the DLETL will contribute to the success of the team by supervising the Digital Learning Technicians, supporting our faculty and students through regularly scheduled review and revision of our courses, and scheduling regular quality checks to the courses that are deployed on our LMS. The DLETL will be responsive to both triOS College’s Academic Planning and Quality assurance process and the immediate needs of students and faculty. As such, the DLETL plays an important role in the continuous improvement of triOS College’s courses.

The Digital Learning Experience Team Lead will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**_Development - Primary LMS Platform; Course Revision and Review_**:

- Work with stakeholders to schedule course review for all programs.
- Schedule regular review periods for all courses, testing:

- widgets
- reports
- custom features
- dynamic elements
- web syllabus
- navbar
- third-party platform integrations

**The accuracy of**:

- syllabus and IG
- textbooks
- course and instructor (facilitator) survey
- gradebook
- assessments
- Accurately scope the steps required to complete review and revision projects.
- Assign Technicians to review and revision projects
- Ensure resources are available and properly designated to attend to the annual development work required by our public partnerships
- Ensure all necessary team members are involved in the project and ensure to have their project buy-in and availability.
- Through regular meetings, track and report on the progress of the project, including escalations to key stakeholders to ensure project is on time and budget.
- Ensure all assets used within the project are stored in the correct file locations for future reference.
- Provide consulting regarding LMS configuration for curriculum, enrolment, scheduling, and logistics practices.
- Provide regular reports to the Manager of Digital Learning regarding the progress of LMS projects.

**_Support - Primary and Secondary LMS Platforms_**
- Monitor and ensure support tickets for course revision are completed in a timely fashion through Jira.
- In collaboration with the Manager, Support Lead, and other key roles within Digital Learning, identify chronic issues and develop strategies to pre-emptively address them.
- Conduct individual and group training sessions as required via Microsoft Teams.
- Through regularly scheduled review periods, ensure all LMS related reference guides are accurate and up-to-date.

**_Team Supervision_**
- Effectively manage direct reports to ensure an ideal balance between maximum productivity and employee satisfaction.
- Coach, provide feedback, and performance analysis for and with direct reports.
- Provide timely reports to the Manager of Digital Learning on team health and productivity.
- Model the expertise and professionalism expected from a member of the Digital Learning team.
- Document and maintain learning technologies knowledge base - including process, checklists, rules, and policies and procedures around all learning technologies.
- Attend LMS webinars and events to keep knowledge and competency current.
- Work closely with the Academic Services team on any new learning technology implementations

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary Diploma or Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
- Working knowledge of project management principles preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with customizing an LMS
- Advanced knowledge of Brightspace is considered an asset
- Experience in working with instructional design professionals preferred
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and/or Articulate is preferred
- Self-motivated with prioritization and interpersonal skills to balance multiple demands
- Ability to manage multiple projects, plan tasks and implement them effectively
- Strong English skills in both spoken and written communication
- Research, navigation and Internet skills

**Experience**:

- Five (5) or more years working in a business office environment
- Experience supervising direct reports is considered an asset
- Experience customizing an LMS would be an asset
- Working within an educational setting is an asset
