About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Learning Experience Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a creative mindset, and strong technical skills to design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly digital learning platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs, objectives, and content to create effective online courses, modules, and training materials.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to create learner-centric content, incorporating multimedia elements, interactivity, and assessments to enhance comprehension and retention.
  • Develop clear learning objectives, outlines, storyboards, and scripts for online courses and modules.
  • Ensure alignment of instructional design strategies with organizational learning goals and industry best practices.

Technical Requirements:

  • Utilize front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to build and maintain responsive and visually appealing learning platforms.
  • Design and implement user-friendly interfaces, navigation systems, and interactive elements to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Integrate & manage APIs or other backend functionalities as needed for seamless platform functionality.
  • Monitor and optimize website performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in French and English is strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and web design/development.
  • Proficiency in front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with multimedia production tools for audio, video, and graphics editing (e.g., Adobe Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, After Effects)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous instructional design and web development projects is highly desirable.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Computer Sciences, or a related field.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
