Environmental Testing Lab Job Posting: Chemist (Analytical Analysis)
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform various analytical tests on environmental samples including water, soil, and air
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and mass spectrometers
- Conduct quality control procedures to ensure accurate results
- Familiar with Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure TCLP
- Interpreting test results and preparing reports for clients
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in environmental analysis and testing techniques
- Collaborating with other members of the laboratory team to ensure timely and accurate analysis of samples
- Keeping accurate laboratory records and following established protocols
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental testing or a related field
- Strong understanding of analytical techniques and methodologies used in environmental testing
- Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
