FH Development group is looking to hire an experienced building construction Manager/Supervisor for their project in Bridgewater. The project includes Three buildings to be constructed in phases.

**Overview**:As a building construction Manager/Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and according to plans. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, supervising work crews, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your hands-on approach and attention to detail will be essential in delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
**1. Site Management and Coordination**:

- Oversee all aspects of construction activities on-site, including scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Monitor progress and productivity, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.

2. Crew Supervision and Leadership:

- Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers, providing guidance and direction as needed.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability among crew members.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure that construction work meets quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any deficiencies or deviations from plans.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to maintain quality and compliance throughout the project.

4. Safety Management:

- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
- Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for crew members to promote awareness and prevent accidents.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

5. Material and Equipment Management:

- Coordinate the delivery and storage of construction materials and equipment on-site.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and schedule routine maintenance as required.

6. Communication and Reporting:

- Serve as a point of contact for communication between on-site personnel, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports on construction activities, milestones, and challenges.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address concerns, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met.

7. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

- Identify and resolve construction-related problems and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Make sound decisions based on project priorities, budget constraints, and resource availability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor in Engineering (Civil) or Construction/ Project management or equivalent; additional certification or training in construction management is a plus.
- Proven 5-10 Years experience in building construction or a related field, with a solid understanding of construction processes and techniques.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with construction software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and project management.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
