The Frontline Supervisor is a keystone in our housing support team. As a Front Line Supervisor you will work to: plan and assign tasks, delegate and monitor work assignments and staff performance, provide feedback, and ensure client needs are met. This position ensures proper flow of communication between your manager and community partners and families. You will follow up with emergency services (such as police, ambulance, and emergency mental health) and others as required. As a Frontline Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the frontline operations and safety of the site throughout your scheduled shift.

We are looking for an individual that has the proven ability to respectfully supervise assigned tasks and effectively manage the myriad of tasks and decisions that occur on shift. Someone with the philosophy, energy, and leadership skills to collaborate and succeed. You will also bring sound understanding of the support needs of people struggling with low income and complex health needs.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or certificate in the social services field or the equivalent education and experience.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role which includes experience in:

- Direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of the site.
- Performance evaluation including ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Providing direction and delegation of tasks.
- Experience supervising in a unionized environment.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.

**Requirements**:

- Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C.
- Complete the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
- Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clear driver's abstract.

**Job Information**
- **Hourly Wage Rate **$28.39 - $33.06.
- ** Work Location **1460 Hillside Ave. - Hillside Terrace.
- **Work Days **To be determined.
- **Work Time **To be determined.
- **Weekly Hours**: 40.
- ** Union**:BCGEU.
- ** Benefits**: Eligible for 100% employer paid benefits. We offer **comprehensive extended health and dental plans**.

**Portability**

As of November 1, 2021, Cool Aid requires that all its staff are fully vaccinated (7 days past their second dose of vaccine) against COVID-19.
