**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for planning, preparing, coordinating and submission of annual wellbore compliance items to meet deadlines, specifically:

- Injection and Disposal well annual packer testing requirements for Alberta, BC, Sask and Manitoba
- Annual reservoir pressure testing requirements - Alberta
- Acid Gas Injection well testing requirements and submissions - Alberta
- Oil & Gas Analysis submissions Alberta, BC and Sask
- Initial Outstanding requirements - Alberta
- Audit and Non-compliances pertaining to the packers, and audits in Alberta, BC and Sask
- Work with project team members on annual wellbore compliance, and work with Calgary Production Engineers and Field Operations staff to repair, rectify and report items of non-compliance
- Manage and track project commitments and regulatory requirements via a database and excel spreadsheets
- Act as a conduit between regulators and Business Units to establish and maintain good working relationships with regulatory agencies (i.e. AER, BCER, MER, etc.)
- Acquire a thorough understanding of regulations, policies and regulatory processes pertinent to packer, annual pressure, initial Requirements, analysis submission under the jurisdiction for Alberta, BC, Sask and Manitoba
- Identify trends and opportunities for process efficiency improvements as well as wellbore data
- Example: Streamlining data collection and reporting, database improvements, automation

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- Typically, 5+ years of related industry experience with a technologist degree
- An understanding of conventional oil and gas operations, wellbore, facilities, activities related to the operation of oil and gas wells and associated regulatory requirements
- Strong written and oral communications skill with the ability to make difficult decisions in a timely manner to support business units and regulators agencies to ensure successful compliance is achieved
- Ability to verify and validate as well as accurately enter large amounts of data to various government agencies
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and organize time accordingly to meet them
- Excellent analytical skills in report writing and spread sheet development to ensure internal and external reports are accurate and complete
