Our team is growing We are looking for a qualified Full-Time Clerical Administrator for our Finch Street site.
Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, the Clerical Administrator will be responsible for performing a broad range of administrative and clerical support to daily operations in the clinic.
Summary of Duties:
- Provide professional and personable first contact by phone and in person for patients, staff and visitors.
- Operating multi-line telephones and responding to inquiries in a friendly timely manner; manage including prioritizing and scheduling their exams, patient procedures as per guidelines and within established timelines.
- Monitoring patient activity and patient flow within the facility.
- Schedules patients for a variety of medical imaging procedures and complete reminder/follow-up appointment calls
- Greets, receives, instructs and directs patients, relatives and visitors.
- Obtains primary patient demographics, OHN or third party billing information from patients as required.
- Assists designated personnel to expedite request for verbal or Stat result requests
- Communicate with physicians/medical offices regarding report statuses and prepare image CDs for specialists.
- Data entry in relevant information systems as required.
- Follow IPAC infection protocols
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks, as assigned by office supervisors/management personnel
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of one-year experience in healthcare.
- Knowledge of medical (Radiology) terminology is an asset.
- Experience in RIS and PACS environment is an asset.
- Adherence to PHIPA**.**:
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated effective organizational and time management skills
- All company and government regulations are to be followed.
- Routine cleaning of work area and equipment to be done as scheduled or needed.
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin an asset but not required.
**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
