Ocean Brands Marketing intern will work with the Marketing team on specific projects for implementation in 2023/2024. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will gain essential training that will help you be successful in future marketing positions. You will be exposed to various departments within the organization and learn about the key roles and responsibilities of a Brand Manager. In this internship, you will also experience being a part of our dynamic innovation team as we disrupt the ambient seafood category and grow beyond our current offerings.

This position will have a hybrid work model: Remote work most of the time, physical presence in our Richmond Head Office for product tastings or specific in person meetings.

**Education and Experience**:

- Currently working towards a degree/diploma (on their 3rd or 4th year), focused in Marketing
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and current best practices
- Previous experience in marketing or consumer packaged goods (internship or co-op) is preferable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creative, detail oriented, analytical
- Proficient in Microsoft platform: Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage consumer inquiries.
- Assist Marketing team in analyzing key data on marketing campaigns and sales performance.
- Assist Senior Brand Manager in finalizing 2024 brand plans.
- Play a key role in one of our new product launches.
- Assist on assigned projects for new businesses.
- Gain an understanding of the retail market and share your insights.

Contract length: 4-5 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
