**POSITION DETAILS**
- Job Title: Human Resources and Office Coordinator
- Business Type: Fenestration
- Job Location: Currently Newmarket, relocating to Bradford in the fall
- Number of Positions: 1
- Compensation: $50,000.00/yr
- Vacation: 10 paid days
- Sick Days: 3 working days
- Full Time
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supports recruitment activities including job postings, coordinating interviews, updating applicant tracking system
- Assist with performance management procedures
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Coordinate new hire onboarding process - reference checks, new hire orientations and organizing training/communication materials
- Help company management maintain, update and/or revise as needed
- Organize and maintain staff records and update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave, benefits)
- Provide relevant employee information and documents related to matters such as leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules ect. to accounting department.
- Implement precautions, safety procedures to ensure the company remains in compliance with WSIB guidelines
- Keep accurate driving records of employees who use company vehicles e.g.: drivers licenses, CVOR
- Maintain accurate Health & Safety data, including H&S handbook certificate compliance & employee training
**REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-Secondary education in human resorces or related discipline and experience equilavancy
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Attention to detail and confidentiality
- High level of initiative and ability to work under minimum supervision or direction
- Deomonstrated critical thiking and problem - solving skills
- Ability to work effectively ina team enviormnent and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook), Adobe, and MS Teams for meetings
- Ability to manage pressure and manage deadlines
- Minimum 3-5 yeas experience in a small business environment
- Reliable transportation as this is an in office position
