**Department Overview**
- Treasury Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) department manages the bank's balance sheet, treasury management, reporting, including liquidity and funding. The TBSM technology team supports the global Treasury, Liquidity and Funding businesses by building and supporting technology solutions to drive business delivery and performance.**Job Details**

**Position Overview**
The AVP, Treasury Technology position is responsible for leading a global team of 60 technologists to support Treasury valuation and reporting functions, modelling, and analytics for the bank's Treasury team.
- **Accountabilities**
- Develop & execute on strategic Treasury technology solution aligned with Treasury business and complimentary Finance technology strategies. Focus areas include:

- Treasury reporting for internal and external requirements
- Treasury analytics and forecasting capabilities
- Provide counsel and guidance on technical, financial, and analytical expertise to team and business partners
- Plan, develop roadmap and execute on strategic activities, review and communicate results, and adjust tactics accordingly
- Lead the development of, and oversee Treasury technologies of the highest degree of complexity
- Own the review of model results and provides model insights/guidance, as well as identify key areas of risk; counsels senior leadership teams on mitigation plans
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with business line management and senior leaders; present and validate results and justify or remediate any observed anomalies
- Manage overall budget, revenue and expenditures, meet business objectives while increasing efficiency and effectiveness
- Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend enhancements / modifications, keeping abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements
- Establish best in class platform resilience aligned with industry standards
- Work closely with Production Engineering team to establish a viable support model, including measures and monitoring capabilities

**Education & Experience**
- 10+ years' experience with a treasury or capital markets context
- Strong knowledge of market and/or treasury valuation and calculations
- Solid understanding of Treasury function and their trading, valuation and risk management
- Ability to work with front office, modelling teams and risk management to prototype new capabilities
- Technical background in one or more major programming language (C++, C#, Java, Python etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution
