Accounts Receivable Clerk

Edmonton, Canada Comco Pipe & Supply Company Full time

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Updating and preparing invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile the deposits in bank to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing and payment issues
- Provide documentation for various internal and external audits
- Prepare and distribute reports as required to Managers
- Assist in completing incoming credit references as required
- Lend support to Accounts Receivable team as required
- Partial back up support for Credit Analyst
- Back up for reception desk, as needed

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:High School Diploma
- **Work Experience**:1-2 years general accounting or related experience
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to efficiently multitask, work under pressure, handle frequent interruptions, meet deadlines and work with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of office administration, and general accounting principals
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficiency - in ERP, MS Office, and accounting software
- Capable of taking initiative, assuming responsibility and handling confidential information with discretion
- Professional demeanor as it relates to inquiring of customers

**NOTE**:

- This position requires the successful completion of a credit & criminal background check;
- Due to our location having your own vehicle to travel to work is a necessity.

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
