Job Description: The CCCTG is an inter-professional and inter-disciplinary consortium of members who are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and advancement of critical care research in Canada. The Postdoctoral Fellow will work with the EDI working group, the NoN Steering Committee and Dr. Geeta Mehta (EDI Chair). The Postdoctoral Fellow will report to Dr. Geeta Mehta as their academic supervisor and to Brenda Lucas, Executive Director, CCCTG as part of their administrative and organizational roles.

Responsibilities of the Postdoctoral Fellow for the CCCTG and the COVID-19 Network will include scholarly initiatives, research generation, advancing EDI priorities within the organization and engaging diverse communities, including but not limited to the following:

- Developing and administering EDI surveys of CCCTG membership & summarizing resulting data
- Drafting/revising EDI policies
- Contributing to member resources pertaining to EDI initiatives on a newly developed CCCTG website
- Creating and maintaining diversity and inclusion resources for researchers, including but not limited to: Land acknowledgement, Grant SOPs/templates regarding appropriate language (i.e. sex, gender, ethnicity ), population targets, measuring and analysing diversity.
- Supporting CCCTG and the NoN in efforts to engage diverse communities of patients, citizens and/or advocates in the design and conduct of research, and dissemination of results
- Assisting in writing and submitting grants
- Assisting in the generation of academic output describing our initiatives (e.g. policy papers)

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Recent completion (within 2-3 years) of Ph.D. or MSc. in public health, gender studies, psychology, sociology, social work, or a related field. Ph.D. or MSc. in other fields will be considered if they have related experience.
- Successful history of scholarly dissemination efforts as evidenced by at least one first-author peer-reviewed journal article.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the field of equity, diversity and inclusion.
- Proficiency in data management and ability to conduct statistical analyses.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing grants and manuscripts.
- Experience developing, implementing, and/or evaluating EDI initiatives.
- Experience with oral presentations.
- Ability to speak and write in a language other than English
